To everyone who has reached out asking about the supply of Carabao Mangoes — thank you for your continued support and patience.
This year’s mango season in the Philippines was unfortunately unfavourable for exports. Prices soared due to limited supply, making imports impractical. Because of this, we decided not to bring in shipments for 2025, focusing instead on preparing a stronger and more sustainable return for March 2026.
We’re hopeful that the agreements and partnerships established this year will make next season far more favourable. We are also awaiting confirmation from DAFF on whether our processing facility operating under strict BICON protocols remains current under updated regulations.
Behind the scenes, our organisation — Fil-Mango Sustainable Agriculture — continues to expand its collaboration with experts in mango cultivation from UPLB and other universities, as well as technical practitioners working on sustainable farming. Together, we’re introducing new technologies from Australia and abroad to improve mango production in a responsible, eco-friendly way.

We are also in close coordination with government agencies, NGOs, and faith-based organisations, ensuring our work uplifts and empowers Filipino mango farmers.
And yes, we’re also looking at trialling Carabao mangoes grown here in Australia. The question is whether we can achieve the same signature sweetness that Carabao mangoes develop in Philippine soil and climate. If the results are promising, it means we can supply and stay competitive in the local market during Australia’s mango season (December–January), precisely when supply from the Philippines is limited. This way we complement — not replace — Philippine growers.
So while it may feel like a long journey, rest assured that CarabaoMango.au is here to stay. Together with our parent company Fil-Mango, the groundwork for a regular, sustainable mango supply is well underway.
To all who have emailed and messaged us — thank you. Stay tuned. The best is yet to come. 🥭
