A Responsible Decision to Fulfil Every Confirmed Mango Order

The response to our Philippine Carabao mango programme has been overwhelmingly positive.
Reservations exceeded our original shipment volume, and we are sincerely grateful to everyone who placed an order and supported the farmers behind this programme.
However, strong demand must still be matched by the right supply.
We Personally Inspected the Harvest
Fil-Mango, through Gencofields Fruits and Vegetables, personally inspected the orchards and the mangoes scheduled for this shipment.
Gencofields CEO Joseph Bautista, who has been responsible for sourcing and preparing our mangoes for the Australian market since 2023, works directly with our partner farmers and personally checks the fruit before harvest to help ensure it meets the required quality and export standards.
The inspection confirmed that weather, wet harvesting conditions and other farm-level factors had affected the available volume.
Although harvesting proceeded, the final quantity of export-quality mangoes was not enough to fulfil all confirmed reservations.

Watch the Actual Harvest
The video below shows the actual harvesting operation for the mangoes originally intended for the Australian shipment.
Our farmers and field team made every effort to gather the required volume. However, after harvesting, sorting and assessing the fruit against export standards, the available supply remained insufficient.
The Decision We Had to Make
We had two practical options:
Proceed with the original shipment and fulfil only around half of the confirmed orders, or adjust the schedule and activate an additional partner farm.
We chose to adjust the schedule.
This was the fairest and most responsible decision because it allows us to complete the required volume and serve every customer with a confirmed reservation.
Revised Harvest and Shipment Schedule
Our additional partner farm in Samal Island was originally intended to support our August and September shipments.
Fortunately, it has approximately 10 tonnes of mangoes available for harvesting from 22 July 2026 .
This additional supply should allow us to fulfil all current confirmed reservations.
The revised shipment is scheduled to arrive in Sydney on or around 27 July 2026.
Pickup and delivery arrangements will be confirmed once the shipment has cleared and been released. A Message From Joseph Bautista, CEO of Genco Fields
“Since 2023, I have been responsible for sourcing and preparing the Carabao mangoes supplied to the Australian market. The response from customers in Australia has been overwhelmingly positive. However, the harvest originally planned for this week was not enough to fulfil all confirmed reservations because of weather and harvest conditions. Rather than send only a limited shipment, we decided to work with an additional partner farm so we can complete the required volume and serve everyone properly. Thank you for your patience and continued support. Every order directly helps our mango farmers and their communities.”
What This Means for Your Order
Customers who have already confirmed and fully paid can be assured that their mangoes have been allocated under the revised shipment plan.
Customers who have reserved but have not yet completed payment should confirm as soon as possible so your allocation can be secured.
A limited number of additional boxes may become available.
Pre-orders will close on 20 July 2026 (Monday) or earlier once the available supply has been fully allocated.
We do not want to overpromise or accept more orders than we can confidently fulfil.
More Than Just a Shipment
This programme is about more than importing and selling mangoes.
By working directly with farmers and reducing unnecessary layers in the supply chain, we aim to ensure that more of the value reaches the growers and their communities.
The programme also supports the wider work of Fil-Mango, focused on farmer development, improved farm management, market access and building a more sustainable future for the Philippine mango industry.
There will be challenges as we build this programme, but our responsibility is to remain transparent, make practical decisions and improve with every shipment.
Thank You for Your Patience
We understand that customers have been looking forward to receiving their mangoes.
Thank you for giving us the time to complete the harvest properly, follow all required export and biosecurity protocols, and secure enough volume to fulfil every confirmed reservation.
Your support directly helps Philippine mango farmers, their families and their communities.
